My practice is concerned with the ways in which non man-made objects can radically influence our relationships with the natural environment and creativity. My work is realised through objects and site-specific performances.
I am a horticultural therapist working closely with children and adults with mental health related support needs. This informs my practice as an educator and interest in socially engaged disciplines and inclusive environments.
I design and facilitate workshops often with the general public, involving consultation and conversation, but also work independently using a range of mediums and formats, primarily for accessibility.
Formally trained as a goldsmith (BA Hons - 3D Design) at the School of Art, University of Essex, I hold a City & Guilds Diploma in Practical Horticulture and am currently studying theory of Horticulture with Royal Botanic Garden of Edinburgh and a Level 3 Award in Training & Education.
