Bio:

I start with the materials; I shop at the art store recycle old paintings and visit the builder merchant. I then begin a process of disassembling ripping, tearing and cutting. I reassemble by stitching and bolting the result being abstract pictures and sculptures that contain tension and texture.
I use photography to take my process further. My record of my work becomes a rich source material. A photo may inspire me to make a print or push me to paint in a new way. My prints may look different from my other pieces but there is a connection and the process of making has been the same. There is a conversation between the two.
