Katherine Fishman is an artist working in video, installation and photography. Her work currently takes inspiration from observed social situations, often involving distinctive movements and casual conversations.
Details of the setting, unfinished sentences and unexpected gestures are frequently framed. Through these aspects she considers how individuals construct and interpret their own perceptions of group dynamics.
