Bio:

Laura Napier is a London based, Sculptor working in a range of media including photography, site-specific installation, film, and performance works to explore sense of place, identity, buried history and loss. Napier creates objects, spaces and experiences adrift from real and fictional realms, which are tethered by the audience’s imagination. The architecture of spaces, and their effects on the people who interact with them is a particular inspiration. Focusing on the division and intersection of private and public space, as a vessel for storytelling.

She studied at Chelsea College of Art (2001-2004) and received an MA at the Royal College of Art, Sculpture School (2004-2006). Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
