Becky Hunt: Artist's statement

Man-made and natural environments, both invented and recognisable, blend to provide a habitat for strange and supernatural creatures. Inspired by the totems, objects and structures used throughout history to manipulate and appeal to the forces of good fortune, the paintings are absurd and mysterious constructions.
