Falling
The installation 'Falling' is part of a body of work exploring the articulation of motion through the suspension of multiple images through space. This work functions in a sense as a film extended in space; the multiple frames mimicking the depicted action as they tumble down through the room. In this way it is the space in between the images that embodies the duration of the gesture. Further, the viewer experiences the 'fall' as a series of suspended moments that fragment and converge according to the viewer's own position in the space.
