‘I Love It When You Sing’ – The Bow Arts Live/Work Scheme

The Bow Arts live/work scheme is a social enterprise project that places creative practitioners within deprived areas of the East End of London. The scheme offers artists liveable studio space within condemned estates, as well as opportunities to engage with the local through community-based arts projects, during a time when the area is changing almost daily. ‘I Love It When You Sing’ explores the lives of the artists on the scheme.

As a participant of the project, I am documenting the creative endeavours of the artists and the spaces that they are working and living within. I will continue the project up until their eviction, and subsequent regeneration of the estates, in the build up to the 2012 Olympics.
