“The Walls Dissolved…” Exhibition

The Last Tuesday Society's latest offspring incorporates a 17th century Wunderkabinett of sorts, Viktor Wynd's Little Shop of Horrors with the Viktor Wynd Fine Art Inc gallery. Amidst the taxidermy, skulls and shells, one walks through as “the walls dissolved …and all that was left was what had been there before”.
The surrealistic dialogue of work by mixed media painter Nicholas McArther and animator Chiara Ambrosio, “The Walls Dissolved…” is showing on location. Through the use of cinematic and theatrical devices, the exhibition traces the points of contact between the two artistic practices while at the same time explore their divergent approaches towards a similar theme. In using sounds and projections, the artists give form to an interior landscape, offering a microscopic insight into its creative process.
