BRAND: Text in Context
As part of 2010's London Literature Festival, Bow-based theatre artist Jennifer Farmer will participate in BRAND: Text in Context, a symposium on exploring cross-genre possibilities, at the Southbank Centre.
Bringing together writers, artists and performers such as Cherry Smyth, Oreet Ashery and Olumide Popoola, Text in Context will generate a creative space for new explorations, connections and audiences through short performances, presentations and discussion. For the event, Jennifer will present a segment of her forthcoming theatre installation piece, THE FADING CITY as well as discuss the challenges and advantages of writer-led theatre collaborations.
The finale of the evening will be the première of a new short play by Howard Barker in the Purcell Room at Queen Elizabeth Hall.
