Saturday 21st January 2012 | 3pm
Organized by John Walter and Anna Bunting-Branch.
Ciao! Modernism explores the demise of Modernism, the emergence of Post-Modernism and Contemporary Art's revisit to Modernist strategies in three short plays and a series of 'Tea and Coffee Piazzas' based on the tea set by Aldo Rossi currently on show at the V&A and a cocktail hour serving mint juleps based on the story of Rauschenberg and Johns. The event addresses breaking points in history through biographical breakups between key art world figures of the time.
