First Thursday@The Nunnery - Coming out of the woodwork

Tonight!

September's First Thursday at The Nunnery is the opening of a new installation and site specific work by Richard Cramp, Mark Selby and Joe Watling.

The artists will be manipulating the gallery, housed in an historic building, into a series of architecturally re-configured spaces, questioning how we experience and perceive physical space through a variety of playful, disconcerting and humorous narratives.

As part of the project, the construction of the works will be available to view online via a live webcam feed (from 19th August) on the exhibition website, allowing the process of making to be revealed and experienced from the position of a distanced onlooker, in opposition to the physical experience of encounter.

Exhibition continues: Friday 3rd – Sunday 19th September

Gallery open: Exhibition open Friday – Sunday from 1pm to 5pm

Artist’s Talk: Saturday 18th September from 2pm-4pm
