Nicolas Deshayes: Cultural Wood

Emerging British artist and member of the Bow Arts community, Nicolas Deshayes (b.1983) creates a series of interventions in Concrete, the Hayward's cafe / bar, and the balcony of Dan Graham's Waterloo Sunset Pavilion.
PVC, glass, and colour supplement-style food photography are employed in a slick game of seduction, in which 'truth to materials' is trumped by cultural aspiration and consumer desire.
