Spit 'n' Scrub

Spit 'n' Scrub is the first open studio weekend for a new community of artists in Bow brought together by the ability to embrace the rough-and-ready nature of working in an industrial space and transforming it into an artistic home. Spit 'n' Scrub Open Studio Weekend will feature audio installation, drawings, millinery, paintings, photography, sculpture and video installation, creative workshops and a Louise Bourgeois inspired salon.

With 29 artists working in mediums ranging from photography to performance, sculpture to opera, Spit 'n' Scrub illustrates that art doesn't just require inspiration, it also needs a bit of elbow grease.
