Location: Bow, East London

I am a recent graduate of Queen Mary University's drama course where I was introduced to live art, the field I now work within. My work centres on the struggle to find original image.

My frustration with this possibly impossible task to create neutral and original images has been the focus of my work for some time now. I want to create images that go against the given that to be 'good' and interesting an image needs to be original. Currently I am doing this by reproducing just witnessed performed images on overhead projection for the same audience. It is a form of both documentation and repetition that allows the audience time to reflect on the performed moment through my own perception and question how their own perception may be different.

Collabortations with Anais Lalange

I am currently collaborating with a physical theatre artist named Anais Lalange to produce a performance. It is centred on her back and is a development from her earlier piece 'Truly' where she talked about love.

I am enjoying the challenge of merging projection with her body, currently I am working on creating her back. Above is the first attempt of creating her. Once we have found a design both of us are happy with we are thinking of making the impermanence of projection more permanent by drawing it onto her during the performance.
