Lise Marker

Lise Marker works internationally as a production designer for film and theatre.

In 2009 she became an associated artist at the Bow arts Trust and in 2010 she founded the performance company VernerBerglund in collaboratino with Anne Jonson. VernerBerglund has since produced a range of workshops and the highly regarded performance piece "Det Du Inte Såg" which is currently preparing for a rerun at Barnens Underjordiska Scen BUS in Stockholm.

Lise has worked on a range of production including Matthew Barneys' Performance piece "Ren" and "Guardian of the Veil" which was performed at The Manchester International Festival in 2007 and in L.A 2008. Lately Lise has worked on Lærke Lauta's new Film "Nogen Gange kommer Vinteren om Natten" and "Rebounce" by Heidi Maria Faisst.

In 2010 she created Costumes for The Puppini Sisters lates show which they are currently touring with. She also Designed the costume for Jean Abrue latest Dance piece "Inside" which opened in spring 2010 and performed at the Edinburgh festival 2010.

Lise Marker runs a series of workshops on production design and performance and is currently facilitating workshop with Artburst, Bow Arts Education and Central School of Speech and Drama.
