Mark Selby

Studied at Nottingham Trent University and Wimbledon College of Art where he completed his MA Fine Art: Sculpture in 2008. He was the 2009 recipient of the Clifford Chance / UAL Sculpture Award. Recent exhibitions include The Electric House, SHIFT Gallery, London (2011), Unobtrusive Measures, Schwartz Gallery, London (2011), Coming Out Of The Woodwork, Nunnery, Bow Arts Trust, London (2010), Stardust Boogie Woogie, Monika Bobinska Gallery, London (2010). Forthcoming exhibitions include Sluice Art Fair (2011) and Circa 1960, Guest Projects, London (2012).

His practice uses sculpture, installation and film. Concerned with acts of communication  and the relationship this has within the technologically orientated systems of contemporary culture, my work parodies ‘methods’ of communicating.

He currently work as a lecturer at the University for the Creative Arts.
