A native of Byron Bay, Australia, Samuel Overington has lived and worked in London since 2008. In 2006, Samuel won the Alliance Française Graduate Prize and his work has been exhibited in Bristol, London, and Melbourne. He is currently a member of the Bow Arts Trust Live/Work Scheme.
In 2009, Samuel co-founded Coffee+Sponge, a collaborative cross-genre arts company, with playwright Jennifer Farmer. Together they create theatre/art installation, film or life drawing salons that is both epic and intimate, transient and permanent.
