Website: www.siobhanmcauley.com I am concerned with the impact technology is having in a society where so many people occupy virtual spaces disconnected from physical reality. A desire for freedom from mundanity is inherent in the work.
My practice explores our accelerated lifestyles: how we experience and understand Time and how this affects the quality of our lives.
I employ a variety of media in my practice including drawing, sculpture, projected image, sound and installation.
I graduated from Central St. Martin's M.A. in Fine Art in 2007 and live in London.
