Broadway Market

Barrow boys have been welcoming shopper to Broadway Market in Hackney since the 1890s, selling everything from bacon to beans, embodying quality, speciality and variety.Shops and stalls provide the quality and speciality of a farmers' market without the limitations. Most of the stalls serve food with sprinkles of fashion, jewellery, crafts, art, music and much more.

With more than 80 stalls running from the Regent's Canal down to London Fields with an extension market in London Fields School yard, the market is accompanied by more than 50 shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Location:

Broadway Market in London E8 runs from London Fields (left) to Regent’s Canal. It forms part of a pedestrian and cycle-friendly route from Hackney Empire through the park and on to the canal, Haggerston Park and Hackney City Farm on Hackney Road.

How to get there:

Lots of buses run to Hackney Road and Mare Street. The nearest rail stations are London Fields (a few minutes walk away, 10 minutes to Liverpool Street) Haggerston on the London Overground and Hackney Central near the Empire.

Nearest Tube:

Bethnal Green.

There’s plenty of parking in the streets around the market. But it’s much easier to walk or ride. And the canal towpaths run all the way from Islington to Canary Wharf.
